Conceptual art pioneer Abdullah Al Saadi is set to represent the United Arab Emirates in an exhibition curated by Tarek Abou El Fetouh at the 60th International Art Exhibition at La Biennale di Venezia. The exhibition, which opened on April 20, will run until November 24. Al Saadi’s solo exhibition marks his return to Venice after his project participation in the main exhibition at the 57th International Art Exhibition in 2017. His artwork draws inspiration from the landscape and heritage of the Emirates, employing a range of multimedia elements such as painting, sculpture, and photography to explore topics related to identity and society.”
