Sarah Al Mansoori’s Reviving Al Sadu combines traditional Emirati craftsmanship with modern technology, commemorating the preservation and reinvention of UAE heritage. Drawing inspiration from Bedouin tribes, the piece includes Al Sadu weaving and timber parts carved with traditional patterns. It modernizes this traditional process with 3D printing, using locally produced wool for the woven components and recycled materials for the 3D-printed pieces.
